A mommy makeover is a package of plastic-surgery procedures that can be customized to give you your pre-pregnancy body back. After pregnancy, childbirth, and breastfeeding, a woman’s body has experienced a number of dramatic changes. These can leave a woman with drooping breasts, a sagging stomach, excess fat, and worst of all, body-image issues and low self-esteem.

The Mommy Makeover Procedure
At the start of the mommy makeover, the patient is given general anesthesia in order to make them comfortable and free of pain for the duration of the procedure. Following this, the chosen plastic-surgery techniques are performed over the course of a single surgical session.
These techniques involve incisions, removal of excess tissue, and tightening of the remaining tissues. Once they are complete, the incisions are sealed with surgical sutures.
The Recovery Process
Following a mommy makeover, patients will need to rest and recover. This will involve following Dr. Waldman’s post-surgical care instructions as closely as possible. Doing so will result in a shorter recovery period and a lowered risk of complications.
You will need to take some time off from work. It will also be necessary to avoid strenuous physical activities like exercise routines and heavy lifting, since these can result in damage to the healing incision sites.
You will need to wear supportive post-surgical elastic compression garments in order to help control bruising and swelling. Ice packs or cold compresses may also help. Painkillers may be prescribed to make the recovery process more comfortable.
Once the swelling has fully ameliorated, you will be able to enjoy the full results of your mommy makeover.
