View 3 of 36 weeks after Tummy Tuck and Monsplasty. With weight loss, some of our patients develop a significant amount of laxity and/or residual fat excess in the mons pubis. For those patients who need it, we spend extra time shaping and suspending the mons area. Formal name for this a Monsplasty. Occasionally, this is done as a isolated procedure. More frequently this is combined with a tummy tuck. A standard tummy tuck will usually improve the look of the mons pubis as well. This procedure is reserved for patients with a significant amount of tissue excess.
