Dr. Cheryl Waldman can diagnosis, treat and help prevent mild to severe dermatologic conditions in both children and adults. Children often seek our services for moles and birthmarks, birth defects, dermatitis, acne, warts, vitiligo and more. In adults, we commonly treat rosacea, psoriasis, shingles, skin cancer and more. We work with patients to find the best treatment for their individual condition.
In addition to handling a wide range of conditions, Dr. Waldman also educates patients about their skin condition and the treatments available for it. We believe that patients should be actively involved in their care and do so through one-on-one consultations, which give the patient the chance to address any questions or concerns he or she may have.
We also provide several cosmetic procedures to help enhance the appearance of the skin as it succumbs to the effects of aging. These procedures reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and leave the skin looking smoother, younger and more refreshed. At-Home Skin Care
 In addition to having your skin examined by a professional on a regular basis, it is important to practice healthy skin care habits on a daily basis to help protect conditions from developing. Unhealthy skin care habits can lead to long-term problems such as skin cancer and premature aging.
At Waldman Plastic Surgery & Dermatology, we recommend that you wash your face twice a day to keep it clean and protect it from dirt and bacteria. When going outside, you should use sunscreen with at least SPF 30, and avoid tanning booths and other harmful sources of intense ultraviolet light. You should also avoid scratching or picking at rashes or pimples. If a problem or abnormality should arise, please visit our office for a professional evaluation.
